How Does the Upgrade Kit Work?
The Upgrade Kit includes new and upgraded parts for your existing Enigma. You'll get an improved faceplate, two new leg leash options, and some additional new parts to refresh wear items.
Enigma Upgrade Kit only works if you have an existing Enigma product. It DOES NOT WORK as a standalone product. So if you don't already own an Enigma, you will not have a complete holster system. Also, the upgrade kit will only work with the same Enigma faceplate and compatible holster shell you were using previously. For example, light bearing holsters can only be used with the Enigma OS - Light Bearing models, and regular holsters can only be used with the regular Enigma models.

ENIGMA EXPRESS: Can I Use the Express Faceplate On Other Holsters?
SAFETY WARNING: DO NOT use the wrong holster for your faceplate. Using the wrong holster or wrong Enigma model can lead to severe injury or death. If you have questions about compatibility, contact us before proceeding.
No, we don't recommend using the Express faceplate on other manufacturers' holsters. Doing so will void your lifetime warranty and make your product ineligible for return. Do not use the Upgrade Kit to swap faceplates unless you are swapping like-for-like.
If you're using another manufacturer's holster, you'll need the Enigma OS - Standard. The Enigma OS stands for Open Source, and it's designed with extra adjustments to work with a much bigger variety of holsters.

Enigma Express - holster included
The Enigma Express is made for a selection of pistols without a light or laser. It comes assembled, and it includes a holster and everything else you need to get started. With a smaller faceplate and direct belt attachment, the Express is the best choice for most users. (Note: If we don't make an Express for your gun, see the Enigma OS section below.)

Enigma OS - holster NOT included
"OS" stands for "open source." That means you can use the Enigma OS with any compatible holster, even if it's from another manufacturer. Just make sure your holster meets all the requirements in the Fit Guide, and you're good to go. (Note that the Enigma OS is NOT for guns with lights or lasers -for that, you'll need the Enigma OS - Light Bearing below.)

Enigma Express - Light Bearing - holster included
The Enigma Express - Light Bearing is for large, duty-sized guns equipped with a Surefire X300 or Streamlight TLR1 weapon-mounted light. While the holster fits a variety of guns, only those two lights are supported. It will not fit any other model of light. (If you have a different light, see the Light Bearing OS below.)
Enigma OS - Light Bearing - holster NOT included
The Enigma OS - Light Bearing is for guns equipped with a weapon-mounted light or laser. You must provide your own compatible holster. You can use the Enigma OS - Light Bearing with any gun or light for which you can find the correct holster. Note: If you have a smaller gun or weapon light, such as a Streamlight TLR7, this is the Enigma for you. Learn how to find a compatible holster here.
