Enigma Express Upgrade Kit Instructions
The Enigma upgrade kit includes new parts to upgrade your Existing Enigma. You do NOT have to use all of the new parts if you don't want to. If the hardware on your current Enigma is good, you can reuse it and keep the new hardware as spares. However, if you're missing pieces, or if your existing pieces show wear, we recommend using the new components from the kit to refresh and restore.
SAFETY WARNING: The Enigma Express Upgrade Kit is only compatible with the PHLster Skeleton holster. Using the wrong holster on your Express faceplate can lead to failure, severe injury or death. It will also void your lifetime warranty. If you have questions about compatibility, contact us before proceeding.
Here's how to assemble the Upgrade Kit for the Enigma Express. You will need:
- Phillips screwdriver
- Big rubber band
- Optionally, you can also use a power driver or a rubber block

City Special Revolver Holsters - Special Instructions
If you're using a revolver such as a j-frame or LCR, the assembly instructions are the same, except for two important steps:
- Do not remove the retention screw from your holster. (This is the short screw next to your trigger guard.)
- Keep the plastic spacers that go underneath your Modwing.
The extra plastic spacers underneath your Modwing allow the wing to clear the trigger guard. Without them, your wing will not align correctly -- it will put extra stress on your holster, and it will make your retention too tight. So make sure you assemble your upgrade kit with the extra spacers underneath the wing.
