The PHLster Enigma Micro is a patented beltless concealed carry holster system, built for micro-compact pistols you carry every day. It comes fully assembled with the holster, faceplate, and patent-pending CamWing pre-configured for your specific gun, and is ready to carry out of the box. Like every Enigma, it carries securely against your body without a gun belt. But the Micro goes further: it's the first holster of any kind to allow concealment, ride height, cant, and retention to all be adjusted on-body, without ever removing the system. No taking it off. No swapping parts.
Built for Rule-One Carry: "Rule One" in concealed carry is simple: have a gun. For a lot of carriers — like people whose body, clothing, job, or daily life leave them with limited options — micro-compact pistols like the LCP, Glock 42, and Bodyguard 2.0 aren't backup guns. They're the most gun these carriers can fit into their day. Most of the industry treats these pistols as second-class. We built the Micro because carriers who take Rule One seriously deserve serious gear.
How It Works: The Micro's faceplate is half an inch narrower than the Express. It attaches directly to the face of the holster, not through a modwing like other Enigmas. Between the faceplate and the holster sits our patent-pending CamWing: a small, tapered piece you can slide side to side and rotate. As you slide the CamWing closer to the gun, the thicker portion inserts between the faceplate and the holster. When you tighten the belt, the gun tucks in. The result is a carry system small enough to disappear and adjustable enough to fit your body.
Adjustable on-body — an industry first: Once the Micro is on, you can adjust four things without taking it off:
- Concealment
- Ride height
- Cant
- Retention
No parts to swap. Put it on, use the poke-and-check method to find your concealment sweet spot, and dial it in. The Micro is the first Enigma — and the first holster of any kind, ever — that lets you make all of these adjustments while you're wearing it.
Built for all-day comfort: Micro-compact pistols tend to focus pressure points more than larger guns. That's a big reason most micro-compact IWB holsters get uncomfortable fast. The Micro's holster uses our ComfortScape molding consisting of rounded, organic ribs that feel like one smooth surface, so you can carry comfortably all day.
Customizable: Optional accessories let you tailor your Micro to your needs:
- Sport Belt — for waists over 48" or for a more secure feel
- Wedge Rx — adds comfort and improves concealment
- Reduced Size Buckle — a smaller alternative to the standard Fidlock buckle, often a better fit for smaller carriers
- Flat Wedge Rx — a thinner profile when you need less padding
What's in the box:
- Fully assembled Enigma Micro with holster molded for your gun
- Patent-pending CamWing
- Waist belt with Fidlock magnetic buckle
- Single-point leg leash
- Two-point leg leash
- All hardware pre-installed
- T10 Torx tool for adjustment hardware
Who the Enigma Micro is for: The Micro is for carriers who carry a micro-compact pistol as their primary gun — not their backup. That includes:
- People whose body size or shape rules out larger setups
- People who can't dress around a gun (professional dress, women's clothing without belt loops, light or formal attire, hot-weather climates)
- People with sensory or sensitivity issues made worse by conventional carry
- Carriers whose activities require light weight equipment (cycling, rock climbing, hiking, marathon running)
- Anyone for whom a "pocket gun" is actually the biggest gun they can carry every day
If you've already tried belly bands, pocket holsters, ankle rigs, or other compromise solutions — and felt like none of them take your problem seriously — the Micro is the answer those solutions weren't.
The Micro is NOT the right choice if:
- Your primary carry isn't one of the three launch fits (LCP II/Max, Glock 42, Bodyguard 2.0). See the Enigma Express or Enigma OS instead.
- Your gun has a weapon-mounted light or laser. The Micro doesn't support light-bearing setups at this time.
[TAB:Compatibility]
Important: The Enigma Micro uses a holster custom-molded to your gun. Pick your gun model from the dropdown at checkout.
Pistols supported at launch
- Ruger LCP II / LCP Max
- Glock 42
- Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 (NOT Carry Comp — see the Enigma Express for that fit)
Optics and sights
- Red dot sights: Not confirmed — the Micro has not been confirmed to fit optics. Use the Enigma Express or OS for confirmed optics compatibility.
- Suppressor-height sights: No — does not accommodate suppressor-height sights.
Not supported
- The original Ruger LCP (first-generation model). The Micro fits only the LCP II and LCP Max.
- The Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip (Magpul EHG) on the LCP II / LCP Max.
- Light-bearing setups. The Micro doesn't currently support weapon-mounted lights or lasers. For light-bearing carry, see the Light Bearing Enigma Express.
- Other micro-compact pistols. If your gun isn't on the list above, the Micro doesn't fit it. Check the Enigma Express or Enigma OS for other fits.
Manual safeties are supported.

[TAB:Adjustment]
The Micro lets you adjust four things on your body, without taking it off:
- Concealment angle: Slide the CamWing side to side, and rotate it as needed, to tune how much the grip tucks in.
- Ride height: Adjust where the holster sits relative to the faceplate to set your grip clearance.
- Cant: Set the angle of the holster for the draw stroke that works for you.
- Retention: Slide the retention screw closer to or further from the trigger guard to tune how tightly the shell holds the gun.

[TAB:FAQ]
What is the PHLster Enigma Micro?
The Enigma Micro is a beltless concealed carry holster built for micro-compact pistols you carry every day — not as a backup. It uses a flexible faceplate, a waist strap, a leg leash, and our patent-pending CamWing piece to hold a micro-compact pistol securely against your body. It ships fully assembled, with the holster set up for your gun.
How is the Micro different from the Enigma Express?
The Express is built for full-size, compact, and subcompact pistols. The Micro is built specifically for micro-compact pistols — guns like the LCP, Glock 42, and Bodyguard 2.0 — where regular holsters either run too long, tip out at the waistband, or don't conceal well. The Micro uses a smaller faceplate (half an inch narrower), the new CamWing instead of a Modwing, on-body cant and height adjustment, ComfortScape molding, and adjustable retention. It's the first Enigma with all of these.
How is the Micro different from a pocket holster or bellyband?
A pocket holster only works in a pocket. A bellyband uses elastic and a fabric pocket that can obstruct the grip. The Micro uses a real Kydex holster on a flexible faceplate. You get proper trigger guard coverage, the same retention every time, and a draw stroke you can practice and trust. The system stays in place no matter how you move or what you're wearing — gym shorts, scrubs, business attire, dresses, leggings — and the grip stays clear for a fast draw.
Why is concealing a micro-compact pistol harder than a bigger one?
Concealment works through leverage. A bigger holster has more length below the belt, which helps balance the grip as it rides above the belt line. A small holster on a small gun has almost nothing to balance it, which is why these pistols often tip outward and print at the grip. For many carriers, simply carrying a short gun in a longer holster fixes this. We call it the "Keel Principle." But for the Micro-sized guns, this isn't an option for most people. The Micro's CamWing fixes this a different way. With the right adjustments, the CamWing can help rotate the grip and balance the pistol, tipping it back into the body and helping balance the little gun.
Can I exercise, run, or do physical activity in the Micro?
Yes. The Micro is built for active use. The leg leash holds the holster in place when you move, and the waist strap stays put on its own.
Does the Enigma Micro work for women?
Yes. The Micro is built for body types and wardrobes that regular IWB doesn't handle well — clothing without belt loops, narrower hips, fitted tops, dresses, and skirts. The smaller faceplate, the on-body adjustability, and the optional Reduced Size Buckle make the Micro one of the most accessible serious carry systems available for women.
Do I need the Enigma Micro, the Express, or the OS?
Pick the Micro if your gun is one of the three launch fits (LCP II/Max, Glock 42, Bodyguard 2.0) and you carry it as your primary. Pick the Express if your gun is on the Express list and not on the Micro list. Pick the OS if your gun isn't supported by either, or if you want to use a different brand of holster on the Enigma platform.
Is the Micro compatible with weapon-mounted lights or lasers?
Not at this time. The Micro is for non-light-bearing pistols only.
How do I adjust the Micro on my body?
Put the Micro on. Find a starting position that feels close. Then use the poke-and-check method (gently press on the grip area to test if it's printing) while you make adjustments. You can slide the CamWing side to side, rotate the CamWing for more or less grip-tuck, adjust cant and ride height where the faceplate meets the holster, and tune retention at the screw — all while you're wearing it. Full walkthrough in the included Quick Start guide and video.
Is the Enigma Micro left-hand compatible?
Yes. Select "left handed" from the menu options.
What accessories should I think about?
The Micro works great out of the box. Common accessories people add:
- Sport Belt — for waists over 48" or for a more secure feel
- Wedge Rx — foam wedge that adds comfort and improves concealment
- Flat Wedge Rx — slim, flat pad for added comfort without additional bulk
- Reduced Size Buckle — a smaller alternative to the standard buckle, often a better fit for smaller carriers
