Details On Free Shipping on Orders $175+
Dec 24th 2025
To make things simpler and more predictable, we’re now offering free shipping on orders of $175 or more for customers in the United States (all 50 states). This blog post explains how it works.
Quick Overview
-
Who qualifies?
Customers shipping to addresses in any of the 50 U.S. states (no international destinations).
-
What’s the threshold?
Free shipping on orders of $175 or more (order subtotal before tax and shipping).
-
What does “free” look like at checkout?
On qualifying orders:
-
The eligible UPS Ground option for the lower 48 states will show a shipping charge of $0.00.
-
If you’re in the lower 48 and only have a PO box, the US Mail Priority option we use instead will show $0.00.
-
For Alaska and Hawaii, the US Mail Priority option will show $0.00.
-
-
What about faster options?
Expedited UPS services like UPS 2 Day Saver and UPS Overnight Saver are still available at checkout for an additional flat rate if you need your order sooner.
Free Shipping in the Lower 48 States
For customers in the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states):
-
Qualifying orders (subtotal of $175 or more) get free shipping via UPS Ground.
-
At checkout, you’ll see UPS Ground listed with a shipping charge of $0.00 when it’s selected for a qualifying order shipping to a lower-48 street address.
-
UPS Ground is a reliable, trackable service with typical transit times of about 1–5 business days after your order ships, depending on how far you are from our facility.
-
Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding holidays. Weekends and holidays don’t count toward transit time.
If you’d like your order faster, you can still choose one of our paid UPS options (for example, UPS 2 Day Saver or UPS Overnight Saver). Those will appear alongside the free UPS Ground option with their own flat-rate prices.
Free Shipping and PO Boxes in the Lower 48
Some customers in rural areas only receive mail at a PO box.
Because UPS cannot deliver to PO boxes:
-
If you qualify for free shipping and enter a PO box in the lower 48, we will ship your order via US Mail Priority instead of UPS Ground.
-
At checkout, when free shipping applies, the US Mail Priority option we use in place of UPS Ground will show a shipping charge of $0.00.
If you update your address to a physical street address and prefer UPS, you can select UPS Ground as long as it appears as an available option for your location.
Free Shipping to Alaska & Hawaii
Customers in Alaska and Hawaii also qualify for free shipping on orders of $175 or more.
Because of how carriers service those states:
-
Qualifying orders to Alaska and Hawaii are shipped via US Mail Priority (USPS Priority Mail).
-
At checkout, when free shipping applies, US Mail Priority will show a shipping charge of $0.00 for orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.
-
Typical USPS Priority transit time to Alaska and Hawaii is about 3–7 business days after shipment, but this is an estimate, not a guarantee. Delays, especially around holidays, are common.
Expedited UPS options may still be available to some addresses in Alaska and Hawaii and will appear at checkout when supported. Those services are not part of the free shipping offer and will show their own flat rates.
What About U.S. Territories and APO/FPO?
The free shipping offer applies to U.S. states only.
For customers in:
-
Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, and U.S. Virgin Islands
Orders ship via US Mail Priority with SIGNATURE Required. This is the only shipping option we currently offer to these locations, due to past delivery and tracking issues.
-
APO/FPO/DPO addresses
Orders ship via US Mail Priority into the military or diplomatic mail system. Additional transit time should be expected, and tracking can be limited once it enters that system.
These destinations are not included in the free shipping promotion, but we continue to support them with the most reliable services we can provide.
PO Boxes, Carriers, and Substitutions
A quick recap:
-
UPS cannot deliver to PO boxes.
-
US Mail (USPS) can deliver to PO boxes.
If you select a UPS option but provide a PO box, we’ll automatically move your shipment to an appropriate US Mail service so your order isn’t delayed. On qualifying orders:
-
For lower-48 PO box addresses, US Mail Priority will show a shipping charge of $0.00 when free shipping applies.
For non-qualifying orders (below the free shipping threshold), US Mail and UPS options will show their normal flat-rate prices.
Processing Time vs. Transit Time
Free shipping doesn’t mean slow processing.
-
Most in-stock orders ship same or next business day (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).
-
Orders placed before 12:00 pm Eastern Time usually ship the same business day. Orders placed after that, or on weekends/holidays, typically ship the next business day.
-
The “2 Day” or “Overnight” in UPS service names refers to carrier transit time after your package leaves our facility, not the time from when you click “Place Order.”
If you qualify for free shipping but choose a paid expedited option (like 2 Day or Overnight), those services still follow carrier business days and do not normally include weekend delivery.
How to See If Your Order Qualifies
At checkout, once your order subtotal reaches $175 or more, you’ll see a free shipping option appear alongside any paid shipping choices. It can't be used on orders with discounts or coupons.
Here’s what you’ll typically see for qualifying orders:
-
Lower 48, street address:
-
UPS Ground – $0.00 (free shipping option)
-
Other UPS expedited services (2 Day Saver, Overnight Saver) with their own flat-rate prices
-
-
Lower 48, PO box only:
-
US Mail Priority – $0.00 (free shipping option, substituted for UPS Ground)
-
Other paid US Mail or UPS options (where available) with their respective rates
-
-
Alaska & Hawaii:
-
US Mail Priority – $0.00 (free shipping option)
-
Any available UPS options with their own flat-rate prices
-
If we adjust the free shipping threshold or details in the future, we’ll update this information on the website and in the checkout display so you always know what to expect.
