Light Bearing Enigma Express.
If you read one thing

The LB Express arrives pre-assembled with a Floodlight2 holster that indexes on your weapon light, not the gun, so it fits most duty-sized pistols with a supported light. Confirm your light on the Compatibility tab first.

Ready to wear

Arrives pre-assembled with a Floodlight2 light-bearing holster.

Beltless

The system carries its own structure. Wear whatever you want.

Built for lights

For a supported Streamlight TLR-1 or SureFire X300U/T weapon light.

Who it's for

People who carry a light-equipped, duty-sized handgun and want a complete, ready-to-go setup with no belt.

People whose weapon light is on the supported list (TLR-1 family or X300U/T family).

How it works

Your body is the foundation, not your pants.

Most holsters clip to your waistband, so your pants do the work. The Enigma moves the support structure onto your body, separate from your clothing.

What changes

Your pants are no longer the anchor. Place the gun where it conceals best, and it stays put when you move, sit, or drive.

What stays the same

A secure Kydex holster gives crisp retention, trigger protection, and a repeatable draw.

It indexes on the light, not the gun +
The Floodlight2 holster uses your weapon-mounted light as the retention and indexing point, so it works with most duty-sized firearms that fit a supported light. The holster doesn't need to be molded to your specific gun model.
Is it just a bellyband? +
No. A bellyband relies on compression and friction. The Enigma is a chassis system with a secure Kydex holster, so you get firm retention, consistent placement, and a stable draw without squeezing into elastic.

What's included

A complete light-bearing system.

Can I swap in a different holster? +
No. The LB Express is built specifically around the included Floodlight2 holster. To use a different manufacturer's light-bearing holster, choose Enigma OS – Light Bearing instead.

Compatibility

The light is what matters.

The Floodlight2 indexes on the light, not the gun. So compatibility comes down to your weapon light. Always confirm your exact model before buying.

Supported lights

  • Streamlight TLR-1, TLR-1S, TLR-1 HL
  • SureFire X300U-A, X300U-B, X300U-T
  • Red dots and suppressor-height sights
  • Most duty-sized guns that fit a supported light

Not supported

  • TLR-1 HL-X and TLR-1 HPX (body changed)
  • Lights outside the two families above
  • Attached (non-grip) lasers
  • Handguns with no weapon light
Red dot but no light? +
A red dot is not a weapon light. If your pistol has an optic but no weapon-mounted light, you want the standard Enigma Express instead.
My light isn't on the list +
Choose Enigma OS – Light Bearing, the platform without a holster, and pair it with a compatible shell for your exact light using the Fit Guide.

Getting started

Assembled, but not yet fitted.

The Floodlight2 is mounted and ready. Belt tension and leg leash length still need dialing to your body. Plan 15 to 30 minutes over your first few wears.

Quick Start video
This is a large holster. The Floodlight2 is built for duty-sized guns with lights. If you're smaller-statured, concealing it takes some technique. The video below covers the challenges and solutions.
How to conceal a giant gun

Your first steps

  1. Read the safety information. This is critical. Do it first.
  2. Watch the Quick Start. How to put it on and make initial adjustments.
  3. Set belt tension. Stable, not maximally tight.
  4. Adjust the leg leash. Prevents ride-up on the draw without pulling uncomfortably.
  5. Test: stand, sit, walk. One small change at a time if something feels off.
Floodlight2 reholstering technique +
The Floodlight2 needs a specific reholstering technique for best results. Review the Floodlight2 instructions in addition to the main Enigma Express instructions.

Concealment

Concealment is a skill.

The Enigma gives you the tools. A few core principles get you there faster, which matters even more with a larger light-bearing setup.

Find your sweet spot

Your body has valleys where the gun tucks in rather than sticks out. With a larger setup, this matters even more.

Grip rotation & tuck

The grip is what prints. Rotating it toward your body and tucking it in is the key to staying hidden.

The poke and check

Poke the grip through your shirt. If it moves easily, add rotation or tuck. It tells you exactly what to adjust.

Clothing

Drape beats cling. A slightly heavier or structured fabric helps cover the bulk of the light. Patterns and texture help too.
