Enigma Micro Replacement Shells

The Enigma Micro holster shell is made specifically to fit the Enigma Micro system. If you’d like to change which pistol you carry with your Enigma Micro without purchasing an entire additional system, you can use these replacement shells. Each holster shell comes with a fresh double-screw-post and two new screws, custom made to attach the holster shell to the Enigma Micro system.

Enigma Micro holster shells are NOT compatible with belt clips or loops and are not suitable for use with a regular gun belt. They are designed specifically for the Enigma Micro system and are not compatible with the Enigma Express or Enigma OS systems.

What’s included:

  • One Enigma Micro holster shell, custom molded for the pistol you select
  • One fresh double screw post
  • Two fresh custom screws

Choose your pistol and your hand from the dropdowns above. The shell is molded for one specific pistol, and right-hand and left-hand shells are not interchangeable.

Swapping your shell: this is a hardware change on the front of your Enigma Micro. You will need the T10 Torx tool that came with your Micro.

  1. Remove the pistol and take the Micro off.
  2. Unscrew the two screws holding the existing shell to the faceplate and CamWing, and set the old shell aside.
  3. Fit the new shell using the fresh double screw post and two fresh custom screws supplied with it. Use the new hardware, not the old hardware.
  4. Reset your ride height and cant as you tighten, then set retention with the retention screw.

Once the new shell is on, ride height, cant, retention, and CamWing setup all work exactly as they do on your current shell — those steps are in the Enigma Micro setup guide. If anything about the swap itself is unclear, ask us before you take the old shell off.

  • Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp
  • Glock 42
  • Ruger LCP II / LCP Max
  • Ruger LCP MAX EHG

What these shells fit

  • Enigma Micro — yes. These shells are built for the Micro faceplate and the patent-pending CamWing.

What these shells do NOT fit

  • Belt clips or belt loops — no. There is no provision for mounting hardware, and these are not suitable for use with a regular gun belt.
  • Enigma Express or Light Bearing Enigma Express — no.
  • Enigma OS (Standard or Light Bearing) — no. For the OS platform, see the holsters listed on that product page.

Optics, sights, and lights

  • Red dot sights: not confirmed. The Micro platform has not been confirmed to fit optics.
  • Suppressor-height sights: no.
  • Weapon-mounted lights and lasers: no. The Micro does not support light-bearing setups at this time.

Manual safeties are supported.

A note on modified pistols

We list every pistol and accessory we have tested. We cannot test every accessory, or every combination of accessories.

Any change to your pistol’s length, width, or shape can change how it fits a holster. Frame modifications, aftermarket slides, compensators, threaded barrels, gas pedals, and similar changes all do this. A modified pistol may fit differently, or it may not fit at all.

If your pistol has modifications we do not list as compatible, you (and only you) are responsible for confirming fit before you buy. Contact us first. Tell us what you have, and we will tell you what fits.

[TAB:FAQ]

Do I need a whole new Enigma Micro to carry a different pistol?

No. That is exactly what these shells are for. The faceplate, CamWing, belt, buckle, and leg leashes stay the same. Only the molded holster shell changes.

Does the shell come with the screws I need?

Yes. Every shell ships with a fresh double screw post and two fresh custom screws, custom made to attach the shell to the Enigma Micro system. Use the new hardware rather than reusing the old.

Can I put this shell on a belt clip or belt loop?

No. Enigma Micro holster shells are not compatible with belt clips or loops and are not suitable for use with a regular gun belt. They are designed specifically for the Enigma Micro system.

Will this fit my Enigma Express or Enigma OS?

No. These shells fit the Enigma Micro only. They are not compatible with the Enigma Express or Enigma OS systems.

Which hand do I order?

The same hand as your existing Enigma Micro. Right-hand and left-hand shells are molded separately and are not interchangeable.

I have an LCP Max. Do I order “Ruger LCP II / LCP Max” or “Ruger LCP MAX EHG”?

It depends on your grip. “Ruger LCP II / LCP Max” covers the LCP II and the standard-grip LCP Max. “Ruger LCP MAX EHG” is for an LCP Max fitted with the Enhanced Handgun Grip. If you are not sure which grip you have, contact us before ordering and we will identify it for you.

Can I keep my old shell?

Yes. Nothing about the swap is permanent. Keep the old shell and its hardware and you can move back to that pistol whenever you want.
