The Sport Belt upgrade for the Enigma system provides additional comfort and support. Based on the same 1.5″ nylon webbing platform, the Sport Belt adds a comfortable 3” tall elastic back panel with soft edges. The elastic back panel can stretch about 1.5-2 inches (depending on the size).
The elastic back panel has sewn-in pockets. The slim pockets are pass-through, and the wide pockets are stitched shut at the bottom. The slim pockets are great for carrying extra magazines, flashlights, knives, and pepper spray. The wider pockets can carry cash, credit cards, ID’s and small medical items. The Sport Belt ranges from 36-64 inches, overall length, with five back panel sizes. It includes a laser cut Enigma attachment point at one end, and a free tail at the other. The free tail threads into your existing Enigma buckle. Simply screw the attachment point to your Standard Enigma, the same as the original belt. The Sport Belt installs to the Enigma Express by direct threading, with no hardware required. See the instruction videos below.
The Sport Belt is compatible with all Enigma models. It’s interchangeable with the nylon belt that’s included with each Enigma, so it’s easy to upgrade your existing system.
SIZING
The Sport Belt works best when the back panel doesn’t wrap past the 9:00 and 3:00 hip positions. Measure around your back between 9:00 and 3:00 and round down to select your size.
Available in 5 sizes:
- XS: 10” panel (36” total)
- S: 14” panel (41” total)
- M: 18” panel (45” total)
- L: 25” panel (51” total)
- XL: 30” panel (64” total)
Following the sizing instructions, select the appropriate back panel size. The belt tails are adjustable if your waist is not the maximum size of the belt. Choose based on back panel size, per the sizing video, not the total belt length.
As soft goods, the Sport Belt has a 1 year warranty.

A definite upgrade in the comfort of the enigma. Having the belt nice and tight for good concealment no longer means having the narrow enigma belt digging into you all day long. I got the 12″ version, as I’ve got about a 28″ waist, and it fits great for me.

As I have come to expect from the team at Phlster, the Enigma Sport Belt is an OUTSTANDING upgrade to an already game changing product. 2 weeks prior to even hearing about the sport belt, I was talking to a friend about going to a seamstress and having some stiffening material added to my stock Enigma belt. Before I was able to do so, I saw the Sport Belt being promoted on the companies IG page! Jon and his team are true innovators in this holster space and are always finding new ways of making lawfully armed concealed carriers, more capable and well equipped. Well done!

The Sport Belt is a great upgrade to the original Enigma belt. Not that I thought the original was uncomfortable, but the Sport belt is more comfortable. So good, I now have two! Also, trust the guide to choose your size. I thought I was going to get it too small, but they were just right. Love that this company is always improving their products and has such incredible service.

The sport belt is a game changer. I was looking for other ways to make the enigma more comfortable with my daily wear of athletic clothing and then one day, I went back to the website to checkout any new items and there is was. I was yes, finally something that will work. So I ordered two them just to make sure I am covered for both of the different EDC I go between. I am looking forward to see what else they come up with.

Please, do yourself a favor, when you order your new Enigma, order a Sport Belt right after you test it with the stock belt. The pressure at my lower back was instantly relieved with the Sport Belt. When I sit or move, instead of having the belt try to press into my lower back, the Sport Belt’s nylon webbing stretches just as needed to let me move, without affecting my gun’s position and tilt. I suggest assembling your new Enigma with the stock belt. When you have it at the perfect waist size for you, measure to see what size of Sport Belt webbing you will need. I would have thought that I needed the Medium Sport Belt, but when I measured, the Medium nylon webbing would have been too long and I wouldn’t have been able to tighten the Enigma against my body. At 5’11”, 210lbs, the Small Sport Belt is perfect for me, because it stretches. Thank you very much Phlster and all who work to make Enigma. It makes my tucked-in conceal carry a possibility.

Just WOW!! This sport belt makes all the difference in the world!! Do yourself a favor and just go ahead and order the sportbelt when you order your Enigma. The belt that comes with it isn’t terrible, but this definitely is a game -changer! MUCH more comfortable. Home run, Phlster!!!!

Comfortable addition to the enigma.
I have just received this sports belt in the mail, and as soon as I got home I installed it onto my holster chassis system and after tightening it up again I immediately could feel the difference. Immediately the weight and tension where distributed a lot easier. The elasticness also helps alot.
Overall get this and you won’t be disappointed.

Game changing upgrade to my Enigma express. The stock belt strap is not bad, but this gives a notable increase in comfort and stability. I tried the fabric the fabric belt sleeve from my Levo papoose, but found this to be much better. I now just use the Levo holster papoose alone with this Sport Belt, and it’s the perfect set up for me.
I have a 32″ waist and the 14″ back panel fits just right.

Big improvement for the already comfortable Enigma! The additional and wide surface area the back strap provides really helps to support the weight of your handgun and holster, while even further reducing the strap digging into your back while carrying. The material and stitching on the inside of the back strap is top notch, with soft edges and no itchiness even when sweating. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is initially purchasing an Enigma, or a current owner! Adding the ability to toss some cards, cash, or smaller items tucked in the strap is just a cherry on top. Only downside is the somewhat difficult installation in exchanging it for the standard if you are unfamiliar with general belt usage. They do offer in-depth instructional videos and articles to help you along the process, though. Overall fantastic!
