Shipping Policy

PHLster ships to domestic addresses via your choice of USPS Priority, USPS Express, and UPS Ground. 

For your protection and ours, please ensure that your billing and shipping address match, to assist us in fraud prevention. Our payment processing system may decline purchases due to a mismatch. 

Automated emails will be sent out by our store, and our shipping software, to notify you of your order status. You may receive multiple emails from both order status and tracking information. We want you to be completely informed as to the status and location of your order at all times. Please make sure that tracking emails haven’t found their way into your junk or spam filters.

Warranty
We stand by an easy, no-hassle warranty policy for products used according to instructions. It doesn’t matter if you’re the original owner or if you acquired your gear second hand, if it’s broken, we’ll repair or replace the item. In the case of broken or missing hardware or belt attachments, all we need is a picture of what’s broken or missing and a shipping address and we’ll get you squared away. 
 
If your item is old enough that the model is discontinued, we’ll offer you a comparable replacement from our current product line. If you need warranty service, send us an email or fill out the warranty form. 
 
PLEASE NOTE: Our warranty only applies to products used according to the product directions. Products that have been modified, misassembled, or used incorrectly are not covered by warranty.
Adjustments

Sometimes brand new units are tighter than you might like them to be or older units are experiencing a little wear. We are happy to make adjustments to retention. If your new gear feels a little tight, check out the “Instructions” page on this website and make sure all the boxes are checked in terms of setting up and adjusting the included features of your holster. Once you’ve covered those bases and you’d still like an adjustment or if your aging gear needs a tuneup, send us an email and we’ll get it taken care of.

Returns Policy
Returns and exchanges are to be made through the point of purchase. If you bought an item through a dealer, please make your return through that dealer, per their return policy. 
 
New holsters, like new boots and new glasses, can take a little getting used to. We highly recommend spending a few consecutive days with your new holster before making a final decision on whether or not it’s comfortable. Use the instruction videos and educational content to make the various adjustments necessary to achieve the maximum comfort and concealment available. Please email prior to initiating a return as 99% of all comfort and concealment issue are resolved with a little personal attention and advice.
 
There’s a minimum 15% restocking fee on all returns of inside-the-waistband concealment products, unless they’re brand-new, unused, and in the original packaging. 
Inside-the-waistband gear is worn VERY intimately to the body. Like underwear and swimwear which have been worn, we can’t in good conscience re-sell a product which has been down someone else’s pants and in intimate contact with their nether-regions. I’m sure you’ll agree how gross that is, and we’re just not going to subject you to the cooties of an anonymous stranger. Returned items which are cut, damaged, modified, or missing parts are subject to additional restocking fees. Please make sure to return the item in as close to original condition as possible. 
 
We accept returns of items within 30 days of delivery. 
The refund will be processed electronically to your original purchase method within 10 business days of the item arriving back at our warehouse. The refund will be for the purchase price of the item, minus shipping. The original shipping fees pass through to the shipping provider and are not eligible for refund. 

In the event that we sent an incorrect or defective item, we will provide a return shipping label. If you’re returning the item for reasons of personal preference or a mistaken selection, you’ll be responsible for return shipping. 
 
While we can’t re-sell used and worn equipment, we still aim to prevent loss and waste. The returned items which are in good enough condition to potentially refurbish or sanitize will be returned to the workshop, overhauled, and then donated to educational and training organizations as demonstration units. 
Credit Card Information

Declined transactions (including for cardholder address mismatch) are not charged. We do not take your money unless you get an emailed receipt from us. Some banks, especially for debit cards will hold funds from a declined authorization from 1-7 business days . This is the banks doing, and if you’ve been declined and money is being held please contact the phone number listed on the back of your credit card for assistance.

This Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how this Site collects, uses and safeguards the personal information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our site. By visiting the Site or submitting your personal data, you accept the terms described in this Privacy Policy. From time to time we may modify this Privacy Policy. If it becomes necessary to make changes to this Privacy Policy, such changes will be indicated on the Site.

What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?

When you visit this Site you may provide PHLSTER with two types of information: (1) personal information you knowingly and actively choose to disclose to PHLSTER that is collected on an individual basis (“Active Information”), and (2) Site user information collected, in a way not visible to you, on an aggregate basis as you and others browse this Site (“Passive Information”).

Active Information You Choose to Disclose

When you submit information to our Site, such as by communicating with us through the Site, PHLSTER may collect your name, mailing address, email address, phone number and other personal information that you may voluntarily provide when you use the Site. PHLSTER uses Active Information to allow one of our representatives to contact you to further discuss your inquiries (which may include employment opportunities with PHLSTER), to provide to you content that is relevant to your interests, and in the furtherance of other purposes for which you specifically provide the Active Information. Email addresses are collected to build “House Lists” for future marketing campaigns that you may opt out of at anytime. If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. In addition to the above information, PHLSTER may also collect your zip code, credit/debit card number and expiration date, and other billing information when you order products through the Site. This information, in addition to other Active Information, may be used to process and fulfill your purchase orders.

Passive Information Collected

Our Site uses a standard feature of web browser software technology called “cookies” to “passively” collect information about how this site is used. Passive Information gathered may include the date and time of visits, browser information, the site pages viewed, time spent on this site, and the IP address of the computer accessing our site. IP addresses are collected for troubleshooting that may be necessary; for example, we may use the IP information to conduct research on questionable leads that have come through the Internet. Passive Information is collected on an aggregate basis without any continued association to your Active Information. If you do not wish to transmit “cookie” information about yourself, you may turn off the cookie function in your web browser (please consult the “Help” section of your browser to do so).

We use Passive Information to gather information about our Site’s users for marketing campaigns and to enhance and design this Site to make it easier, faster and friendlier to use. Additionally, cookies help PHLSTER know more information about how many people visit this Site, when they visit, and how they use this Site.

How Do We Secure Active and Passive Information?

We protect Active and Passive Information by using security measures, including encryption measures, designed to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure of, or accidental loss or destruction of, such Active and Passive Information. Unfortunately, however, no information is 100% secure when transmitted over the Internet. PHLSTER is not responsible or liable for disclosure of your Active or Passive Information due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third-party access, or other causes beyond our reasonable control.

Do We Share Information?

We may provide aggregate Passive Information about Site traffic patterns and related Site information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data. Except as stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell or share your Active Information. We may share your Active Information with our affiliates and service providers to provide services and products you have requested.

We may also share your Active Information with carefully selected third-party vendors, who may use the Active Information shared to provide special opportunities and offers to you. Your Active Information will also be shared with to further process your application for products being sold to you by PHLSTER.

In addition, we may disclose Passive Information, including aggregated data and statistics, in order to describe the Site to prospective partners, advertisers, and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes. Additionally, we may disclose part or all of your Active Information when we believe, in good faith, that the law requires or compels such disclosure, or when we have good faith reason to believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or property, the rights of another user or to prevent harm. Further, we may disclose information provided by you as part of any merger, sale, acquisition, or other acquisition of some or all of PHLSTER or its assets.

We are not responsible for the practices employed by sites linked to or from our Site nor the information or content contained therein. Often links to other sites are provided solely as pointers to information on topics that may be useful to the users of our Site.
